Six ways to plan a move

Checkers has compulsory captures and jump chains. Four in a Row drops discs into a 7×6 board. Reversi flips bracketed discs in eight directions. Dots and Boxes awards territory to the player who closes the last edge, with an extra turn after each capture. Mancala uses counterclockwise sowing, extra turns and opposite-pit captures. Nim removes stones from one heap and lets you choose whether the final stone wins or loses.

Checkers uses forced captures and multi-jump turns on the dark squares of an 8×8 board. Four in a Row uses gravity on a 7-column, 6-row board, where a line of four wins horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Reversi is played on an 8×8 board; a legal placement can bracket and flip opposing discs along multiple directions.

This category lists six playable games: Checkers, Four in a Row, Reversi, Dots and Boxes, Mancala and Nim. All offer a computer opponent or local two-player mode on one device.
