Code Breaker is a single-player deduction game. You propose a hidden sequence, then combine exact-position and misplaced-symbol totals to eliminate incompatible answers.
Numbers accompany the hand-drawn tokens, so identifying a symbol never depends on color alone. The candidate count is derived from the same public clues available to you.
This is a random-round game, with no numbered levels. Training has 24 nonrepeating codes, Standard 1,296 and Challenge 7,776 codes.
The browser saves accepted guess history and the current code when storage is available. Unsubmitted edits are not restored. There is no timer or account-based score sync.
A guess with two exact and one misplaced match tells you three symbols match, but it does not identify the matching positions. Use another guess to distinguish the arrangements.
When exact plus misplaced is zero, every symbol in the guess is absent. Repeated symbols can help test multiplicities in Standard and Challenge.
Keep a likely symbol fixed and change other positions deliberately. The remaining-codes count can confirm whether the new clues reduced the set; it does not suggest or submit an answer.
No. Random rounds use 24 Training, 1,296 Standard or 7,776 Challenge codes. There are no numbered levels or daily shared puzzle.
No. Exact and misplaced are totals for the whole guess. They do not reveal which positions matched.
Your mode, secret and accepted guess history are restored from this browser when local storage is available. Unsubmitted symbols are not saved; clearing browser data removes the round.
Yes. This is a free single-player browser game with keyboard and touch controls. It does not require an account or download.
Restart lets you try a different deduction strategy on the same secret. New code generates a different secret from the current one.
No. The possible-codes total comes from the public clues, while every submitted guess is chosen by you.
